It is not about what you would like to see, feel or think ; it is about what is in the present; our brain can’t process all the datas ; it makes choices and sends incomplete information to our mind and awareness.
Your brain can choose to make yourself identify with :

  • Your thoughts
  • Your past
  • The economic context
  • The geographical place you are in
  • Your body
  • Your health
  • A past trauma

With this method, you will start by accepting your limiting or helping beliefs. You can stop judging them. You can welcome them, invite them to the table and embrace them.

Like Discover what you are made of

How could you trust yourself, praise yourself and love yourself when you have no idea about how unique, precious, beautiful and rare you are ?
We perfectly know how unique another person can be for us ; we have one mother, one best friend, one true love !
We can think « Come on there are 7billion people on this planet I will not be stuck with only one ! »
And yet, we don’t change our mother, our best friend, our true love … easily or at all !
This proves their uniqueness for us.
Here we will apply the same process ; we will change our habit of identifying ourselves with fantasies , « you have to », you should » etc… without knowing who we are deep within.
We will discover what we are made of ; « I » then becomes the most pure and authentic voice that comes from within.

Like Open up!

Open up to the re-programming of your brain and identity.
Since NLP suggests that our brains function as computer programs, we can re-program, and reboot ourselves in a positive and specific mode.
You will open up to the new, the different, the diverse, the weird, the puzzling, the ambivalent, and even the monstruous sides within yourself.
Some easy ways of doing this :

  • I discover what it feels like when I change hands when I write…
  • I discover what it feels like when I eat with my fingers, with my mouth directly on the table…
  • I discover what it feels like when I change my usual spot in my house
  • I discover what it feels like when I am on the phone at home lying on the floor, or up on a ladder…
  • I discover what it feels like when I taste new cuisines with a bitter, sweet, sour, salty taste…
  • I discover what it feels like when I take sugar or gluten off my food or when I drink 2 liters of water each day, for 7 days ;
  • I discover what it feels like when I pay attention the smallest sounds, when I stretch my internal ear and train my ability to hear the slightest nuances….
  • I discover what it feels like when I notice the blue, then the green then the red…
  • I discover what it feels like when I’m taking notes of my dreams, my slips, my parapraxes…
  • I discover what it feels like when someone makes me remember something I had completely forgotten…
  • I discover what it feels like when I’m remembering my childhood and its emotions
  • I discover what it feels like when I am talking with people who do not share my views on politics, history, economy etc..
  • I discover what it feels like when I go camping whereas I am fond of 5 stars hotels ; I discover what it feels like when I treat myself with a 5 stars hotel whereas I am fond of camping

Here you will make your priorities straight.
You will not let yourslef be burdened by what is non essential. You become aware that you have a limited time on this planet and that each second is an opportunity for YOUR life, YOUR decisions, YOUR happiness.
You will re-visit the Wheel of your life to see how high you score from 1 to 10. If you do not score a 10 everywhere, then you can improve yourself !
When you actually visualize your mindmap, then you can be aware of the changes you want to make with your focus and inner talk. You finally know what is important, essential for you.

Like Tell your story!

Growth and Contribution are two fundamental needs of our soul. If you feed your soul with growth and contribution to others, you will get your other needs, like certainty or significance satisfied. Telling your story is a natural évolution in your life ; since we all need meaning, we want to listen to other people’s stories to make connections with our own lifes. When you become a parent, or an uncle, or aunt, but also when you teach, or when you are a neighbour, a judge, a police officer, a trainer, a manager, a coach you tell your story to the person you are taking care of. You focus on your ability to give, share, tell, coach other people. You become confident in your ressources, your assets and you start growing because you are contributing.
